Divided canvas. viewing a figure on stage/in a miror; viewing ones self
reluctance to join the figure in the spotlight
this painting has changed; my attention has moved from the viewing figure to the one on stage or in a mirror. how I feel the world sees me
I am reminded of Frances Bacon's work the internal space he sets up . Also Alan Jones "Stages"
